Malang Town Square

One of the famous hang place to students in Malang is Malang Town Square or more familiar as Matos. Matos become one of the favorite because the located really close to the biggest University in Malang, Brawijaya University. Matos located in Veteran street, Lowokwaru distric, Malang City. Not more than 5 minutes by walk to reach Matos. Matos is very crowded with college students because the place is completed by store, restaurant, cafe, shopping store, karaoke and etc. That’s why Matos seems intresting for youth people to kill the time with friends or enjoy the weekend.

In Matos we are observed what people do. Most of them walk around to see interested things. Book fair is the most crowded place in Matos. People are intrested to the book especially in cheap books. A side that, one of the most crowded place is shopping store because most of the visitor are boarding house occupants. They have to fullfil their stock and keeping their stock last until the periode of the time. The visitors go around to see places that they are need and intresting. The economic run well in mall such as Matos. The seller and buyers can meet directly to run the transaction.

We went around the Matos to observed the activity and transaction happend. We bought ice cream in one of ice cream store. The ice cream price is more expensive than ordinary ice cream because the capital is more higher to pay the rent cost. After that, we went to food court to had lunch.
